Driver responsibilities

TLC regulations outline drivers’ responsibilities when serving passengers with disabilities. Drivers must offer assistance to passengers using wheelchairs or those with other disabilities when entering or exiting the vehicle.

Completion requirement

Each applicant must complete the full course, including every step of the physical hands-on passenger securement process in its entirety without exemptions.
